Giants of the Eastern Alps

Discover Austria, Slovenia, Italy – 24/08-31/08/2019

Seven days, three countries, countless passes. In August 2017 we shall be whisking you off for the first time to the Eastern Alps, between the Tauern, Kärnten, Friuli and Slovenia. Starting from Radstadt, in the Pongau near Salzburg, you will enjoy a superb week's cycling. There will be no skimping on scenic highlights and spectacular passes: the remote Sölk Pass, the wild, romantic Nockalm Road, the breathtaking passes in Slovenia, such as Vrsic and Mangrt, as well as the roof of the tour on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

Three countries, three cultures – the majestic Alps in Austria, wild, but glorious Slovenia and Italian lifestyle in Friuli. The Giants of the Eastern Alps are a cycling holiday for all five senses.

Truly gigantic!

The Guides

Swabian Stefan

quäldich-Guide Stefan Gillich

Robby – The Berlin Mountain Man

quäldich-Guide Robert Wittkopp

Robby is a loyal Epic Climber of the first order and, when he passed his guiding debut on the Berlin-Vienna with flying colours, he had tasted blood. With his almost-original Berlin gob and his inimitable mechanic's skills, he's a top addition to any trip.
