Season Opener in the Rheingau (Eltville)

Start off your season – 20/04-22/04/2018

Epic Climbs’ Season Openers in Germany are a tradition - every year we introduce you to a different German cycling region, of which there are more than you might think. So, in April 2018, we open our season in the Rheingau, at the invitation of team member Uli, who can't wait to show off his local territory. So, starting from the well-known wine-growing area of Eltville we shall explore the vineyards on the Rhine, the uplands of the Taunus and hilly Rhein-Hesse.

Kicking the season off with Epic Climbs is obviously mainly about cycling but, alongside the peaceful roads and tough climbs there should also be plenty of group bonding. So it will be the ideal opportunity to arrange a weekend get-together with your new cycling mates, swap heroic tales from the past and forge plans for the summer. Or just get a taster of the Epic Climbs experience?

Cycling and la dolce vita with Epic Climbs!

Uli – The Sommelier

quäldich-Guide Ulrich Klein

Uli's natural habitat, both at work and on the bike, is the slopes, especially wherever wine and culture flourish. As Epic Climbs' official sommelier, he's a great addition to any table, too.

Tirelessly on the lookout for anything true and beautiful.
