Training Week in Tuscany (Colle di Val d'Elsa)

Experience the unique heart of Italy – 5/05-12/05/2018

A training week with that Italian vacation touch takes you to Tuscany. There you can look forward to varied scenery with different landscapes each day. On quiet roads with very little traffic you will explore the area between Florence and Siena, with breaks in typical local bars and restaurants in picturesque medieval villages.

After each ride you can relax in our three-star hotel in the heart of the Colle di Val d'Elsas old town. And, at evening meal time, we can share our impressions of the day together over authentic regional cuisine.

Early May was the choice for this trip for a reason: the fields of broom bathe the rolling hills in a lush green, everything is in bloom and the weather is pleasant. And the rides give us a chance to dig really deep.

La dolce vita in Tuscany and some hard work on the bike!

The Guides

Jan – The Boss

quäldich-Guide Sahner Jan

Founder and CEO of Epic Climbs and, as such, on a very special mission - with his inimitable style he motivates his flock to perform great deeds in the saddle. Sometimes does great things in the evening programme, too!

Klaus – The Saxon from Lago

quäldich-Guide Klaus Hoffmann

Since Klaus moved to Lago Maggiore for family reasons, he's been unstoppable on the bike. On his first Epic Climbs trip as a guide, he's definitely far more than a linguistic support for the team.

Gerhard – the Mobile Home Rider

quäldich-Guide Gerhard Schaffer

... loves taking his mobile home from his native Salzburg area to the foot of the high passes and ride them at a relaxed pace. Recently he's mainly been doing this in the Western Alps. In demand as a windbreak, Gerhard made his guiding debut in the Vosges in 2017.
