Spring cycling in Granada

Your cycling holiday in the sunny heart of Andalusia – 22/04-29/04/2017

Granada – world-famous for its Alhambra and the heart of one of Andalusia's top cycle training areas - there's a reason why the Vuelta often passes through here.

Our 7 rides in the Granada area explore the “must haves” and visit hitherto unknown corners of the Vega highlands. Vuelta classics up in the Sierra Nevada, rolling hills around Bermejales, small, unnamed stretches in the craggy Sierra Huétor, and the deserted “Cabra” climbing up from the Mediterranean.

The Vega is in bloom, early summer temperatures, flights and bike hire included: the ideal conditions for a season opener!

The Guides

Hagen – el guía jefe andaluz

quäldich-Guide

Our guy from the Rhön now has his training base in: Granada and the Sierra Nevada. As our cultural attaché to Andalucia, he knows the tapas by their first name. Motivated and passionate. Devout believer in wearing white socks.

Torsten – Guide No. 1

quäldich-Guide Torsten Kähler

One of Epic Climbs' main men, with training grounds in the Münsterland and Austria. Often, to thunderous applause, voted the best and most understanding guide, because for him the sun shines longer and the mountains are flatter...
